Year to Date Information

The Year to Date Information screen allows you to view the year to date totals for your benefit.

To access the Year to Date Information screen, click on the Year to Date option in the menu. The Year to Date Information screen opens.

If you have only one benefit, the screen automatically displays the Year to Date information for that benefit. If you have more than one benefit, the screen displays the Year to Date information for the first benefit you received.

If you have more than one benefit and would like to see information on a benefit that is not currently displayed, click on the benefit displayed next to "Viewing" at the top of the screen. This opens a list of your benefits. Select the benefit you wish to view. The Year to Date information for the selected benefit is then displayed on the screen.

All years are displayed as cards and appear in descending order by year. Each card displays the following information:

• Year - Year associated with the year to date amount totals.
• Gross Amount - Sum of pension, annuity, adjustments and supplements.
• Net Amount - Total Gross amount less tax withholdings, deductions, and insurance deductions.

To view tax detail of a specific payment, click on the card. The Year to Date Details screen opens.

The Totals Breakdown section displays a year to date breakdown of what has been paid.

The Tax Details section displays the following:

• Taxable - Amount of benefit payments subject to taxation.
• Tax Excluded - Amount of benefit payments excluded from the taxable amount calculation.
• Tax Free - Amount of taxable benefits not taxed because they originated from post-taxed contributions.
• Fed Withheld - Total amount of Federal tax withheld.
• State Withheld - Total amount of State tax withheld.

Note that any amounts displayed in parenthesis are negative amounts that are deducted.
