Nominated Beneficiary Information

The Nominated Beneficiaries screen allows you to view your nominated beneficiary information to insure that it is correct. Nominated beneficiaries are the people who have been named to receive your benefit upon your death. This screen displays your primary and secondary (alternate) nominated beneficiary information on file with the retirement office.

To access the Nominated Beneficiary screen, click on the Nominated Beneficiaries option in the menu. The Nominated Beneficiaries screen opens.

Each of your nominated beneficiaries on file with your pension fund is displayed on separate cards with some or all of the following information:

• Name - Nominated beneficiary's name.
• Relationship and Date of Birth - Nominated beneficiary's relationship to you and their birth date.
• Designation - Designates the nominated beneficiary as a primary or secondary beneficiary of the survivor benefit.
• Distribution Percent - Percentage of any survivor benefit the nominated beneficiary is entitled to.
